Letter from the Superintendent
Union City Board of Education is proud to announce the opening of an innovative community site named the José Martí Center for Cultural Education.
Together, we will make educational history by combining culture with education. We will use José Martí's own ideas about education to guide this revolutionary new arts and education center.
This center gives Union City a unique opportunity to combine education and the arts. The center was designed to build connections between parents, students and the entire community. The center will be a key resource for all members of the community. Events conducted at the center will bring the many personalities, cultures and talented people of our community together to make stronger home, school and community relationships.
Our children need our whole community's support to grow and achieve the goals of the José Martí Cultural Center. With your support, the rich cultural heritage of our community will continue to grow and flourish.
Please contact Teresita Diaz at (201) 348-5406 for further information about getting involved with the Center for Cultural Education.
